Are you sure you're closing your video streams correctly ?
Because when I'm in the "select song" menu, I can see there is only ONE instance of the LAVSplitter + LAV decoders on my deskbar.
But as soon as I select the song I want to play, and the game begins, there are TWO instances of LAVSplitter + decoders.

Why the need of two stream / LAVsplitters+decoders ?
I think you're not closing the stream you're using to print the background preview of the song in the menu.

Thought I might totally be wrong and misinterpret the situation.... And I'm pretty sure it has little to no impact on performance, but maybe on small budget PC ... you know .... So yeah not an urgent bug at all.
