Issues Noted for the NEW UPDATE (Not recommend to install Yet)
Here's a few issues to note for this update:
- When using images for note effect, etc there's a black board square around when play (Disable Shaders)
- Lags way too much (Even when you disable shader)
- PPDEditor is not even possible to make scores anymore due to major lag (even on 240p videos)
- Many effect2Deditor issues keeps the program to either be unresponsive or closes
- PPD.exe automatically closes on me when launch (I tried everything)
- New update removed the Video Cube (Menu feels empty without it in my option :(....)
- KeyConfig is not editable anymore with bugs
I noted that this PPD update is like a Dolphin Gaming emulator I used. Meaning u need to buy a new $800 Gaming PC/Laptop or build a custom to even play the new update making regular computers not even usable since it now use FPS Limitor intake (I compare the dll to PPD and gaming emulators/simulators and they interfere and causes major lag and low fps dropping). I do hope an update fix reverse back to how v0.7 was like because V0.8 is not possible on regular PC. Even when the priority is high on Task Manager.

sometimes, when you start playing, the Circle button with my Arcade Controller just not work the first pression on it... not hardware problem, it's the game

yh I noticed. I hope a stable version be fixing this though. I do miss the video cube though :/

Yh I also typed wrong (keyboard keys sticky) I meant to say software issue of PPD not hardware my bad :-P

Don't forget about the no text/font problem, there's many people have this issues and use PPD0.7

As you can see, the black boarder of the notes cover up the next markers making it not easy to play maps or scores. Hope this be resolved :)

Lol that bug looks like a challange item.
It makes the next notes harder to see.
I'm looking forward for the future of PPD, I hope KHC will fixed all issues for this amazing game that he/she makes.

You have replaced effect images with those someone made.
You can see effect images in img folder, and they will have black square background.
PPD v 0.8 support blending only when shader enabled, so replace effect image(when shader disabled) or replace your pc(when shader enabled).

@KHC for some reason when I didnt, I used default image files and I still got the black square on images. Might just be my PC.

@KHC no not from video. I deleted folder and reinstalled no mod, no img, all default but the boards still have black boarder. Imma try something.

@KHC Ok I got the black square boarder to not show by editing etd for disable shader and effect images but it lags on some points when in play, especially songs like Rin Chan now. It maintain 30fps video then go down to 16fps in some points. I do think its my PC for tht. :(

I see, the higher PPD version, the higher pc spec you need. I wonder what spec we will need in PPD1.0
In PPD0.7 it just a low-end game, so yeah it's a big changes and a lot of people with low spec pc will leave PPD because they can't play it.
Well for now we still can play PPD0.7 so it won't be a big problem, but I always share this game to the world. I want them to join our community, they're still new and don't know anything but just get a bug.

I know it doesn't matter much for me (i play offline mostly so i don't get nagged about updates) but KHC should fix it so it can keep growing.
Nothing in the new update should have made it lag as bad as it does.
