I just fixed it by running all the .exes i saw like a madman

What do you mean, running all the exes? i dont understand.

I got frustrated and just ran everything a ton of times, idk, I bet running the installer was what "fixed" it tho
Afterwards I did have trouble with a bunch of other stuff and just did a clean install
