Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but when I choose one of the options to play the song within the editor, it plays the song, movie, and chart for a second, then the screen fades to black and gives me my 'results' despite me playing nothing. I don't understand what is going on and would greatly appreciate if someone would help

You forgot to set the End Time in Show > SettingFileWriter
